Bellagio Apartments

Brief:

Mr and Mrs Smith requested a contemporary apartment space with 2 bedrooms and a study. The existing large balcony had no visual appeal so a focus was placed on creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. Custom joinery was requested to maximise storage space throughout the apartment.

Software Used:

Revit

Enscape

Photoshop

Concept:

As you enter into the apartment you are immediately greeted with access to a large balcony with a spectacular water view overlooking Sydney's Wentworth Point. Existing access points to the balcony on Level 1 of the apartment were replaced with Bi-Fold doors to create a seamless indoor/outdoor connection to both a large study, as well as linking the entertainment areas of the open plan living room.

Keeping the clients’ contemporary design style in mind, the study offers function and aesthetic with ample storage. A built in desk, multiple storage cupboards and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves create a minimalist and sleek feel as a productive space for study and relaxation.

Level 2 of the apartment hosts both the guest bedroom and generous master suite with adjoining ensuite and walk in robe. Custom made joinery has been utilised to fit the space and requirements of the clients. Inviting and warm materials such as oak and marble are featured across the entire apartment, creating a timeless and seductive palette. The final documentation set includes clear information on all hardware and fixtures utilised in the project.
